Joanathan Knight Considering Macbeth Video Game

Looking forward to the next great action packed game on the 360? Forget about that… Macbeth is where it’s at! Atleast executive producer Jonathan Knight believes so. Given the chance to to work on a new project he would pick the Bard’s play. Some might hear Shakespeare and automatically think drama but they forget all the murder and mystery that go with these stories which makes for a great game… possibly.
“Macbeth the game is something I’ve been thinking about for years, but now, I think the emotional quality that games are achieving and the value level of the acting and the sound work makes it possible,” Knight tells IndustryGamers. “The thing is, the unique quality of games is being interactive; it’s about action and killing things and pursuing those mechanics is tricky when bringing in classic media; Dante’s is more of a violent interpretation of the poem for example.”
However it looks like this project will have to be put on hold until Dead Space 2 is finished.
