There’s great news for those of you who have played Sega’s Jambo! Safari. Sega has finally upgraded this interesting but not so popular arcade game and has turned it into a hit which I believe it really ought to be. It has dawned on Sega to introduce it to this generation’s Nintendo consumers in a level that will meet their thirst for a more intricate gameplay and modern graphics. It will be sending Jambo! Safari, a port of the 1999 arcade title to Wii this year. Just like the original arcade version, there will be 4 safari rangers and a small fleet of vehicles from which players can choose from as they hustle to catch and shoot photos of the African wildlife. It is packaged as Jambo! Safari Ranger Adventure and will be including the mini-games “Ostrich Racing” and “Meerkat Madness” as required by Wii law.
Jambo Safari animal Rescue is similar to Sega arcade titles, Crazy Taxi and 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker. It is one great game which will knock you out. Many are also looking forward to the announced Nintendo DS version of Jambo! Safari, labelled Jambo! Safari Animal Rescue. Nothing else has been disclosed about this.
