Need for Speed Shift Could be the Next Big Racing Sim

After watching a few trailers and reading up on the game, I have to be honest – the game has really good potential. The game will cater to both the racing enthusiast but at the same time making it easy to jump in and go just like any other arcade racing game. No fluff, no crappy music, no ugly camera filters! Just you, your car, and your competitors. Spending countless hours playing GT2 mostly mastering the Nurburgring I can say I have had my fair share of racing sim experience and I can’t wait for this one to come out. With an ever expanding car selection and a long list of world famous race tracks this could just be the game EA has been trying to make under the NFS series but never got just right.
Ever since their Most Wanted release is where I felt the game went downhill and fast. Then the games to follow were even worse, almost as if someone was hitting the NO2 button to go even faster. Hopefully the release of shift will bring some new life into the series and keep them alive & kicking, the last thing we want to see is another gaming company goes under no matter how bad their games are.
