The latest issue of Game Informer itemizes the controller options and gameplay for Activition’s soon to be released mixmaster sim, DJ Hero.
The product review conducted by the Raging Gamer says that the Guitar Hero fans will feel right at home as tunes are set upon a three-note track with outside green and blue tracks crossfading left and right.
The Crossfader switch on the controller is used to play the correct note as the note track changes in position.
With DJ Hero the player can customize certain sections of the gameplay using the controller’s effects dial. This is like the drum fill sections of the Rock Band. For some note tracks, the players will have to scratch the controller’s platter to complete the note. It also comes with a rewind setting and a button that activates “Euphoria” the powerful multiplier.
Southpaws don’t have to miss out on the fun since he can easily separate the two-piece controller and swap units with his opponent. Activision is now turned mutant- friendly. For the latest info check out Game Informer.
