The Next PSP Won’t Have an UMD Drive

David Perry Acclaim developer said so himself on his Facebook and Twitter – Down with battery sucking UMD drives! We’re not sure just how accurate this rumor is, just like the one we told you about yesterday (sliding screen PSP). The rumor were looking forward to now is if no UMD then what? Memory sticks? Wi-Fi downloads? Solid State Drive? A mix of these things? Maybe Sony made up some new drive to surpass the UMD? A lot of rumors have been floating around lately I think it’s about time Sony steps in and maybe clears things up a little but still leave some vague specs for us to speculate some more.
