What is Android?

“Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications” and it just so happens to be the operating system for the best phone I have ever had to date, the G1. Android is also open source which means that all the apps are free to download and use so I am constantly installing new apps and trying them out.
In this new section I will be talking about some of my favorite apps and current news that’s taking place in the android community. This isn’t going to be a place for the apple fan boys to come and talk about how their iPhone is better, I don’t care about your iPhone.
