Pokémon Platinum coming soon

Get your reservations ready because Pokémon Platinum will be hitting stores as soon as March 22, 2009. Virtually an enhanced version of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, this game includes many new features setting it apart from its counterparts. With new areas to explore and new Pokémon added into the mix, including a few legendaries, this game will definitely be worth a purchase for any Pokémon fan.
New Features
Bringing with it a brand new story line, Pokémon Platinum offers many tweaks such as my personal favorite the “Vs. Recorder”. Show the world your skills by uploading recorded battles of your many Victories. There are also many activities and mini-games to be shared in the all new Pokémon plaza that will feature up to 20 players from around the world. One can also test their skills out against tough trainers in an all new Battle Frontier feature. In, addition there are a few added Pokémon mostly focusing on its title’s legendary mascot Giratina which is seen in two forms.
The story also opens up a new area where the normal laws of gravity and physics do not apply called Distortion World, where the climate becomes colder due to a disturbance caused by a portal that was opened in the Sinnoh region.
Pokémon Platinum has sold over 1 million copies in its first two days of release in Japan, breaking previous Nintendo DS sales. So get your reservations ready and see you on the battle field.
