Get Piss Drunk In The Latest Warhammer Live Event!

Keg End is what they call it and it is a most noble and cherished holiday. It’s the day where the dwarfs bring out all their stores of mead, beer, liquor, and any other form of libations for all to drink and be merry. It Is a new years type celebration where everyone drinks their mind out simply to rid themselves of their alcoholic supply and make way for a whole new batch to bring in the new year. It’s for the luck you see, and I’m sure it’s just as much a lame excuse to drink away all the memories of ass beatings you’ve picked up in your early tier RvR. There will be all sorts of fireworks and festive cheer running rampant over the pubs of Altdorf. Don’t let that get you Destruction guys and girls down, there is stuff for everyone to do. After all the forces of Destruction aren’t going to just let those damned stunties have a good time!

Lets us drink and merry starting December 17th and ending January 5th! for there will be all sorts of exclusive goodies for us to accrue over the course of some good old RvR action and other miscellaneous, but fun, stuff.

Goodies and all around great things to have added to the game are as follows: New enemies in the form of Ogres, the new emote of/toast and /boast which if done correctly will land you some kind of reward, The legendary Golden Stein that is said to give a damage boosting aura of Frothy Goodness, A slew of beverages, some elite and very rare of varying effects, for players to have for participating in events, and the standard 3 pack influence rewards in the range of Basic , advanced , and elite.

What those items are only reading on will tell you

Rewards

Basic – Exclusive in-game title “The Drunkard”
Advanced – Unique Stein Trophy
Elite – The Last Call Keg (returns the player to the City Pub)

All great stuff to be sure, but the one thing that really catches my eye is a Rare World Drop known as The Battlebrew Backpack (one for each tier in which they are found). I’m guessing it takes the place of your cloak, but just take a look at that thing, it looks awesome. It gives the look of a man/dwarf/elf/etc on a mission to coat the world in fermented happiness, and that’s the guy i wanna be! Check out the gallery for a better look.
