Korea to invest a shit load into it’s game industry

The goal in mind for the South Korean Government is to develop its game industry into the largest in the world. With theirs already hitting a billion-dollar export goal, it seems like they very well could. If it means better games for the rest of the world then it can’t be all bad, but i have a sneaking suspicion that its going to have some sever ramifications. That aside, the plan is to invest 350 billion won by 2012 and the country is already planning to start up 60 different projects with a $200 billion game fund to help establish itself among the top three countries with the largest gaming industry.
Good luck with that yo.

I think starcraft 2 just took too long. They are desparate. They haven’t had a cool new game since 1999!
